This is a flat oval board which rests on the roller without a track or other form of attachment. The balance board has a little texture added to the top so that you won’t slip off. The oval design means you won’t accidentally damage furniture or yourself with sharp edges, and you get to feel like a surfer catching the waves!
Indo Board has a smooth function that doesn’t get caught up, or hitched on anything. Sure, this means it could all come crashing down, but that just makes it that much more exciting! There are consequences for not maintaining the core; if there’s no danger there, how can you expect to improve? It’s not exactly for beginners, but once you get the hang of it you might be replacing your couch with a set of Indo Boards.

There is a removable half-ball under the disc, that when attached, gives more wobble room and therefore makes the core workout harder. Instead of buying a beginning board, and then upgrading, you can get the two for one deal. And the best part it, this type of board is all once piece, so you won’t go toppling over and crashing down.
A 360 degree workout, you can tilt forward, back, and side to side, making sure it hits every muscle group in your body. This gives you more options for what to work, stretch, or strengthen, compared to the tilt boards which seesaw over an axis.

This baby can take up to 350 pounds of weight, so needless to say, it is top quality. A disc shaped board, this one leaves you free to gyrate like Elvis. The three settings are transitioned between easily, and over slants of 15, 17, or 20 degrees. This is for serious, heavy users.
The different angles give you options for just how much core you want to work on. The benefit of the disc shaped balance board is that it should help you from completely wiping out, although on those tougher setting, I might move away from the China cabinet. Work your way to the hardest level, or keep it on an easier setting after your long run.
This is a solid middle of the road price. With the three different settings, the Fitter First 16’’ Pro is an amazing value for anyone who already knows how to balance, but might want to advance their core and balance skills.

The no slip surface means you can focus on balance, and forget about footing. Because it tilts front and back, it focuses on fewer core muscles at a time, which makes it more targeted. With the solid surface, you can add weights and other exercises with ease. Drop down and do some stabilizing pushups too, by holding onto each end of the board with your hands.

Not a bad price at all for this style balance board. It is a design that rivals the Indo board, for less than half the cost. That being said, it doesn’t quite look as cool, or function as smoothly.
