Asics Gel FujiSetsu GTX Review Facts
Watch Video Review

This is a shoe for the truly adventurous trail runner. Trail shoes have come a long way. Trail runners have the option of whether they are looking for a flexible light weight shoe, or a shoe that is more durable and less flexible. The Asics Gel Fuji Setsu GTX is the choice for the trail runner who is a true off-roader. The shoe comes with technologies that protect the runner from jagged terrain and can even handle extreme weather like snow or rain. The upper is made using the water proof GORE TEX technologies which enable the runner to experience the trails regardless of the weather conditions. Even with its intense durability and rugged exterior, the synthetic mesh of the upper is still breathable and helps runners stay comfortable and cool while they are tackling tough terrain. The lugs found in the underfoot are designed using aggressive rubber and even some spikes. Although this is a heavier trail shoe, especially compared to lighter Asics trail shoes like the Asics Gel Fuji Trainer 2, runners trade light weight for durability and protection. Many runners are happy to make this trade. It all depends on your individual needs as a runner hitting the trails.
