The New Balance 910v2 is a completely redesigned trail shoe that is meant to tear up the surface beneath you and keep you going with each step. An efficient trail shoe should have great traction, foot protection, comfort, breathability, and fair flexibility. This shoe has all these elements within it and puts itself above the rest.
The outsole is considered by many to be the best feature of the 910 v2. There are two elements of the outsole that set it apart from past versions. The first element is the sticky rubber compound that is applied to most trail shoes from New Balance

The New Balance 910 v2 wasn’t made for the smoother surfaces. The lugs on the outsole are way too strong to come in contact with calmer surfaces such as light gravel or groomed trails. The lugs might be slightly short for loose surfaces, but the New Balance 910 v2 still provides a good sense of grip regardless.
The original price for the 910 v2 was well over $120, although it has decreased substantially since the v3 was released. Now that the 910 v2 isn’t the newest shoe available, it could be found for roughly over $60. The durable technology used in this shoe make it hard to argue that the shoe isn’t worth more than $100, but now that there is a new model out in the market, buyers can get a high-quality trail shoe for a cheap price. Based off of the exceptional comfort and protection it has for a trail shoe, this is a good deal, especially if you’re someone who doesn’t really care for the latest gear.
