On June 6, 2017, Buff announced that top trail runners Suzanna Bon and Zach Miller would be joining the Buff Ambassador Team. Current runners in the Buff Ambassador Team include fellow top trail runners Michael Wardian, Anton Krupicka, Ian Sharman, Adam Kimble and Gina Lucrezi.
Ultra runner Suzanna Bon’s most recent win was the Born to Run Ultra Marathon 100M where she placed 1st for women and 2nd overall. She also placed 4th for women in the The Canyons Endurance 100K, and 2nd for women at Salmon Falls 50k. She has also finished in the top 10 women at the famous Western States 100 Endurance Race. Bon’s next race is the Euchre Bar Massacre 50 Miler in Foresthill, CA.
Though still relatively new to the ultra running scene, Zach Miller has won some well known trail races including the Madeira Island Ultra Trail 115k, the 2016 North Face Endurance Challenge San Francisco 50 Miler, and the 2015 CCC Ultra Trail Mont Blanc. He will be running one of the most difficult ultra marathons in the United States, the famous Hardrock 100 Mile Endurance Run which will take place on July 14th.
BUFF Ambassador Michael Wardian made headlines earlier this year when he completed 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents along with 32 other people. His average marathon time was the fastest one ever for this event, averaging 2:45:47. Both Michael Wardian and Ian Sharman will be running the 44th Western States 100 Mile Endurance Race on June 24th.
This announcement comes with the release of their latest products the BUFF UV Arm Sleeves and the BUFF Pack Run Cap. Both products feature an innovative technology that not only feature a UPF sun protection, but are light, easy to pack and wick moisture as well as dry quickly.
