Editor’s Conclusion
Do you have feet? If the answer is yes, you are long overdue for a good foot massage. When I first started running, the first goal that I set for myself was distance rather than speed, and my feet were not happy. A good pair of running shoes helped, but they’re not miracle workers. I received this foot massager as a gift one Christmas, and it has taken up permanent residency in my living room.

This massager boasts various settings from low to high that not only massage your feet, but also offer excellent compression to boost circulation, and also provides heat therapy. Whether you are standing on your feet all day or put them through the wringer on your daily runs, there is no better feeling than slipping your tired puppies into this high-end massager. It’s super easy to use, and in just 15 minutes send immediate relief to your tired feet.

Below, I wanted to take a deep dive into all of the advanced features that will make your life feel incomplete without this killer foot massager!

PERFORMANCE

Unlike budget-friendly foot massagers out there on the market, the Renpho foot massager delivers various styles of massaging that send relief to all points on your feet. It uses compression, kneading, rolling, and scraping that is similar to what you would find in a massage parlor. This design also boasts arch support that kneads and scraps the arches of your feet to help relieve tension and fatigue to make your feet feel like a newborn baby!

What also makes this design stand out from a crowd of average massage rollers is the addition of compression therapy. Many professional athletes utilize compression therapy in some form, which makes this massager worth every penny. It has a set of pockets inside of the chamber that fills up with air to squeeze your feet.

The added heat therapy helps to loosen muscles, while compression therapy helps to boost flexibility, wash away lactic acid, and helps your feet heal faster from a long day. The combination of all these styles of massage therapy translates into one effective massage.

USE

What I also love about this design is that it is insanely user-friendly. I was so impressed by the performance of this massager that I gifted it to my grandma, and she was able to use it right out of the box without even reading the instruction manual. This design has a central touch screen on the base of the unit that allows you to select your massage settings and adjust the strength of your message.

There are three different settings for air therapy and kneading therapy that include low, medium, and high. I found that the highest setting feels great, but can sometimes be just a little too intense. The heat setting only includes off and on, and you can also set the timer for a 15-minute or 30-minute session.

This massager also makes it easier to adjust the settings without bending down to reach the device with a handy remote control. This control allows you to make all of the same setting adjustments that you would make when touching the control panel without the need to bend over and manually adjust the device.

I didn’t think that the remote was necessary when I first started using my massager but found that I often use it more than I use the central control panel!

SIZE

It’s important to note that the Renpho foot massager is quite bigger than I initially expected. It measures to be 16.8 inches long, 15.3 inches wide, and stands to be 16.8 inches tall. The wider frame is able to accommodate feet that are up to size 12, which will work for most users. It also weighs in at just over 3 pounds, which makes it a cinch to move from room to room as needed.

Personally, I love the rounded and modern design. The sleek frame is a cinch to wipe down when it starts to get a little dusty and looks sharp in any living space. It’s not small enough to slip under the sofa, but the sleek design looks right at home in my living room.

The only downside to this larger overall frame is that it can be a little difficult to pop this rounded device compact into a closet or other storage area. However, you will likely love the Renpho Foot Massager so much that you won’t want to tuck it away into storage!

POWER SOURCE

This device is powered through an electric cord, which means you will need to be fairly close to an electric outlet while in use. For foot massagers, I personally prefer corded versions compared to battery-powered options. Battery-powered designs are great if you move around a lot and like to take your massagers with you on the go, but I found there is no real need. This device is parked next to my sofa where it lives full time, which means that leaving it plugged into an outlet is no problem.

Corded designs are great because they won’t lose power or need to be recharged. Often, when you use a battery-powered design, the heating elements and the strength of the massaging balls start to fade as the battery fades. With this electric design, the strength of the massaging balls and the heating elements are just as powerful at the start of the massage as they are at the end of your massage.

It’s important to note that the heating elements on this design conform to international safety standards, so you won’t feel the heat immediately. Overall, this massaging device takes between 7-10 minutes to heat up completely. At first, I thought that the heating element was broken, because it feels as if someone is very slowly raising the temperature of your bathwater.

MAINTENANCE

Even if you wash your feet before using this device, the lining can get a little icky due to the heating elements that may cause some feet to sweat inside the enclosed space. What I love most about this foot massager is that it allows users to remove the lining and toss it into the washing machine for quick cleaning. The lining has a pair of zippers along the edges that you simply unzip, and toss into the washing machine.

While it’s machine washable, it is in your best interest to skip the dryer to prevent fading and shrinking. Typically, I wash my liners in the evening and then hang them up to dry in a well-ventilated area. The materials used are thin and breathable, and by morning my linings are completely dry and ready to use! It’s also important to note that you should never place wet liners inside of the device to prevent the heating elements from shorting out and causing real damage to your device.

PRICE

I won’t sugar-coat it: the price of this foot massager is surprisingly expensive. There are a ton of different styles and designs of massagers, and many are super affordable. You may feel compelled to opt for a design that isn’t quite as expensive, but I would advise against it.

Many of the more affordable designs may feel nice, but they don’t quite possess the same power and well-researched design features to deliver any real relief.

This design utilizes profession-grade massaging and compression methods that are proven to boost circulation and ease pain from overuse and injuries that make it an investment worth making.
Verdict

Verdict

If you have feet and you use those feet to go places, you may want to check out the Renpho foot massager. Whether you are an active runner, stand on your feet all day, or just like to pamper yourself, this massager is an excellent choice.

I know that there are more budget-friendly massagers out there on the market, but none of them hold a candle to this option. It provides users with 360 degrees of dynamic massaging that feels quite similar to going to a massage parlor (without the hefty price tag). This design is incredibly easy to use, and it is ready to go right out of the box.

I also love that this option comes with a remote control that allows you to make adjustments without bending over to use the central control panel.

If you can swing the higher price point, this massager is well worth every penny. It’s a great option for runners that are putting their feet through the wringer, or simply for those that are on their feet all day. It can help soothe general foot fatigue or even help runners that suffer from plantar fasciitis or pain from pronation issues.

Good running shoes are a good line of defense against strain, but active recovery after your run is just as important!
