However, it is still in a fluid state but closely similar to being like plasma.

Gel water occurs naturally in our world and is found in cacti, chia seeds, collagen, and other fruits and vegetables. 

Benefits of Gel Water

The body needs water to function. But gel water has added benefits.

The benefits include leaving a runner properly hydrated and full of energy. Most of the water in our cells is in the form of gel water, and it is believed that our bodies can absorb gel water more efficiently than just plain old water.

Although the bloodstream absorbs regular water, gel water uses the fascia to absorb it. This process of gel water absorption means better hydration.

Gel water also contains other nutrients, which give it that added bonus. Phytonutrients, naturally found in plants, have health benefits such as antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. Lastly, they can also help your body absorb gel waters. Some in particular to try are cucumbers, watermelon, cantaloupe tomato, and pears, which all contain gel water.
  2. Drink Smoothies: Did you know that smoothies are more hydrating than a bottle of water? Drink green juices or smoothies. 
  3. Add Chia Seeds: You can put crushed chia seeds in your smoothies. Crushing them helps you get more gel.
