Advanced Features
Advanced Features

Advanced Features

There are a couple of more advanced features you might not expect from a pair of headphones that customers can take advantage of when they are wearing the JBL Reflect Mini 2 in-ear wireless headphones. First, the cable is reflective. That does not seem like a lot but most other products on the market do not offer this feature. This is ideal for those who like to go running in the early morning or late evening when there are low light conditions, giving them just a little extra protection by keeping them visible to others.

These headphones also feature a great quick-charge option. If you are in a pinch and need to get a fast charge on these then you can simply plug them in for 15 minutes to get an additional hour of use out of them. Customers like that they have this option if they forget to charge the battery before hitting the gym. They can get a quick charge out of it and be good to go for a little longer.

As mentioned above, these do have a built-in microphone. Not only can you make your phone calls from these headphones but if you are connected to your smartphone you will also have access to your voice assistance, like Siri (iPhone) or Google Assistant (Android devices) without even having to take your phone out of your pocket.
Sound Quality
Sound Quality

Sound Quality

The sound quality in a pair of headphones is generally important, as you are purchasing them to listen. The JBL Reflect Mini 2 wireless headphones, unfortunately, only offer a mediocre listening experience. Many customers were hoping that they would sound a little better than they did, considering what they paid for them. They do not sound the worst and they do have some good qualities, they just did not live up to the expectations of many users.

As with a lot of sports headphones, these offer fantastic bass, giving you that powerful thump that sounds with intense sub-bass content thrive on. Even at dangerously high listening volumes, the music did not distort and the bass stayed strong. Reviewers stated that these earbuds tried to give more bass to songs that it was not intended for, making for an inaccurate sound. Additionally, some people suggested that they sounded a bit dull, lacking some clarity and they are not very dynamic. That being said, you should note that even at the loudest volume they are not as loud as some of the others currently on the market. Even though there are a lot of customers that state they do not have the best sounds, they can usually agree that they do not sound bad. If you are just the normal joe wearing them you should have no problems. Those who consider themselves audiophiles might not like them too well.

The built-in microphone has some mixed reviews. For the most part it seems to be relatively decent, however, some users stated the person on the other end of the line could barely hear them or stated they sound muffled. If you are in the market for something to make a lot of calls on then you might want to consider a different option.
Connectivity
Connectivity

Connectivity

The JBL Reflect Mini 2 in-ear wireless headphones connect to your cell phone, or another music player, via a Bluetooth connection. You can even take advantage of the fact that you are able to connect to two different devices at that same time. This is ideal for those who want to stay connected to their cell phone for receiving phone calls, but they want to listen to their music from a different device, such as their computer or fitness tracker. Some customers have mentioned that they do not have the farthest range so it is advised that you do not stray too far from your connected device.

Customers do not generally have any problems getting these to connect, it is relatively quick and painless. Something to note is that a few customers mentioned that they kept losing connection while they are listening which can be extremely frustrating or could not get them to connect at all. For the most part, though, there were no real issues with the connectivity which is nice.

Style

The JBL Reflect Mini 2 wireless headphones have a plain and simple design, nothing too flashy about them and they can blend in almost anywhere. There are a few colors you can choose from when purchasing these, black, dark blue, light blue, or neon green. The neckband that connects the two earbuds is made out of a thin and reflective cord to help you stay visible while out in poorly lit environments. The neckband also comes equipped with a cinch that will help you alleviate some of the slack so you do not have the cord bouncing around and distracting you while you are focusing on the task at hand. This cord also houses the three-button inline remote and microphone.
Durability
Durability

Durability

For the most part, customers can agree that the JBL Reflect Mini 2 wireless earbuds are durable and will not suffer from premature wear and tear. Yes, there are a few customers who had some bad experiences and their headphones did not last more than a couple months but that seems to be the exception, not the rule. Reviewers stated that the headphones seem to withstand a lot and can handle their active lifestyles, they are after all sports headphones and as such should be able to withstand a hardcore workout. They are sweat resistant and can handle some wet environments. They will be able to survive under your sweat conditions and some rain but you should not go swimming in them, as they probably will not survive that much water. Overall, though, they seem to hold up pretty well.
Ease of Use
Ease of Use

Ease of Use

Customers have stated that the JBL Reflect Mini 2 in-ear Bluetooth headphones are easy to pair to their devices, they had no problem at all. These will link up just the same as most other wireless earbuds on the market. Simply press and hold the pairing button until the voice prompt tells you it is looking for pairing and then select the headphones on your devices Bluetooth list. Once you get your initial connection they will automatically connect when they are in range so you do not have to continue to pair them every time you want to use them.

The inline remote is pretty intuitive and easy to use. You have three button options. The top and bottom button will allow you to adjust the volume as needed. The middle button acts as the multi-function button and will allow you to turn the headphones on and off, pair your device, play and pause your music, and answer and end your phone calls.

The earbuds boast a battery life of about 10 hours. Customers have commented that the battery will last them all day which is great as they will not have to worry about it dying on them while they are out and about. Price

The JBL Reflect Mini 2 wireless headphones are a little on the pricey end when compared to other similar products. They have an MSRP of $100 but can usually be found cheaper online. Customers stated that for the price they paid for them they expected a better sound, but other than that they were not disappointed. They seem to be durable so they will not have to be replaced too prematurely. Some reviewers mentioned that if you are able to find them for a cheaper price tag then they would be worth it, but they are not worth the money if you are paying full price.
