Positive
  • These shoes have been so good with my marathon and crossfit lifestyle. They have been very durable. This shoe is great for fast side to side movement as well. They are really light and sturdy. Also, the price is just right!
  • I do a lot of agility training, crossfit, and strength training. These shoes have been great for this and they are comfortable to run in too. I ended up buying these a half size smaller than I normally do. These are a great versatile work out shoe.
  • I use these for mobility and for weight lifting. They are very stable and firm while having great control.
  • These have the perfect balance of comfort and stability. I have never had a more versatile shoe. I can go from climbing to lifting and then go for a long run, versatility!
  • I am so extremely happy with these shoes. They are wonderful and comfortable. They are flexible and stable while giving the cushion of a solid running shoe. They have a great stability to them for deadlifting and squats.
  • Durable and light, great gym shoes. They have a good look to them and they are very, very comfortable.
  • I was not a fan of the laces but that is an easy fix. These are comfortable for what they are. They took a bit to break in, after a week they were good though.
  • The best shoe I have ever came across for y crossfit training. They are a secure and firmly stable shoe for weights.
  • They are moderately durable. I am digging how light they are and versatility is there for sure. I am a personal trainer and these do start bothering me after about 4 hours of training.
  • Double unders, check. Cross fit, check. These are great shoes for running too. They could use some extra heel support for lifting.
  • I took a chance n these by just trying them on and bought them. They are a dream. They have a great feedback energy platform and work great for my lifting. I do not have my usual knee pain with these. Fit to size for an athletic shoe. Buying a second pair now.
  • These were made for plyometrics. Great support while being super light. They have great comfort to them too without being bulky.
  • I wouldn’t say this is a great running shoe. It has been great for all my multitude of gym classes though. Nice support and comfort. I would recommend.
  • My feet get real hot easy, these keep them cool. They are light and the sole has average cushiness.
  • Great grip and super durable quality. They are stable and work awesome for my booty camp training. I went a half size smaller and they work great.
  • I was having a heel rubbing issue at first. I inspected and moved and flexed the heel plate, manipulating it and getting it to relax, the shoe is now a dream. They fit perfect to size and are super versatile. I use them for WOD training and for runs.
  • These beat my NANO 7 in comfort for all day use. I went a half size down, they were a bit long. They were tight and I have a narrow fit, for all you wide feet people.
  • This shoe is really responsive. They have a purpose and it involves stability, these are the most stable and comfortable shoe out there. Great for crossfit and great on the wallet.
  • I bought a second pair and my first ones are still good. They are the best in stability and comfort and are very durable. I use them for walking, running, training. They handle everything with ease and responsiveness.
  • These have a good amount of space in them. They have a bit of a bounce to them and are over all comfortable. I had to break them in a bit and they rubbed my heel raw but it went away.
Negative
  • I was happy with how they felt when lifting. I wore them that one day and they started separating in the sole and the mesh of the shoe was coming apart. Wild!? One day?
  • I only was able to use these for a week. They started falling apart. Horrible!
  • These do not have enough toe room for me. They do have a good heel drop. The lacing rode low on the shoe and was pinching. I am not happy with the fit of this shoe at all.
  • I was completely happy with this shoe design. However, The mesh and the sole started falling apart. The parts that hold the mesh to the shoe are coming off.
  • These are a good shoe other than the fact they are eating my heels up! I do not see me using these for much due to the pain.
  • This shoe sucked for my walks to break them in. I am not sure what the heck they made these for bt if I cannot eve walk in them? They have no flex and feel like they are made from cheap plastic.
  • One shoe was deformed. It had a lump in the heel and was rubbing me raw. They have a weird shape all together after inspection and I feel this is why they rub so bad.
  • These are the worst shoes EVER! I literally gave them to my dog to chew on. This shoe is so tight yet the toe box is sooooo wide. IT fits really sloppy. It is really unstable and has no support. I am a professional lifter and I would never use these for any of it. They also had glue stains on them.
  • I was so shocked at how horribly made these were. They were so cheap they started falling apart all over just after 5 days of wear. Really bad quality after use 5 days that began to lose the seams

Midsole
Midsole

Midsole

The midsole is similar to a traditional running shoe with the goal of providing runners with a soft, comfortable landing pad. These shoes have a full-length EVA midsole that provides lightweight cushioning. The EVA midsole is able to keep its shape even after extensive use. Athletes reported that whether they were lifting heavy, performing box jumps, or jumping lunges, the midsole foam in the Speed TR 2.0 provides cushioning that allows them to work out for longer periods of time without feeling fatigued and by reducing the risk of injury.
Upper
Upper

Comfort
Comfort

Comfort

Athlete after athlete agrees that this is one comfortable shoe. Since high impact workouts like those designed with the Speed TR 2.0 in mind can sometimes cause friction and hot spots, Reebox used only the most lightweight materials and the most comfortable cushioning to keep athletes comfortable during their tough workouts. Additionally, this shoe contains design elements specifically attuned to CrossFit and other HIIT workouts such as Rope Pro tech for rope climbing and Kip Klip Support for CrossFit WODs. Athletes loved that these shoes kept them closer to the ground and more connected to their workouts.

Durability
Durability

Durability

One of the unique features of this shoe is the Gum Rubber used on the outsole. This is a thoughtfully designed element added by Reebok to provide this shoe with the ability to take a beating without losing its shape. Since this shoe is designed for the athlete who will be doing a lot of jumping and who will, most likely, be lifting a high amount of weight, Reebok wanted to make sure that they created a shoe that would hold up against tough workouts. The full-length EVA midsole provides athletes with a cushioned base that won’t lose its form and does a great job of bouncing back to its original form no matter how much weight the athlete is lifting.
Protection
Protection

Protection

Athletes can expect unique protections that are designed for HIIT and CrossFit athletes. Since these workouts require a lot of jumping and side to side movement, Reebok included design elements that will help the runner stay secure on their feet, including adding in lots of traction to the outsole to eliminate the risk of slipping. Additionally, since these shoes are designed for Olympic level weightlifting, Reebok designed the shoe to provide a high level of responsiveness to the athlete to keep them feeling confident on their feet. The near zero drop helps reduce the risk of injury to athletes who are lifting heavy and performing high impact workouts.
Responsiveness
Responsiveness

Responsiveness

Runners raved about the high level of responsiveness provided by these shoes. One of the reasons for this is the Gum Rubber outsole. This material is highly protective and durable but still provides athletes with the ability to feel the ground below them. This connection to the ground below allows them to respond to changes in direction, speed, and activity without the risk of injury. Likewise, the near zero drop helps keep the foot flush against the floor and provides them with a secure landing pad.

Support
Support

Support

The upper of this shoe is designed using a lightweight, durable material called Cordura. This material is designed to wrap the foot in a supportive material that helps to reduce side to side movement but also is lightweight and flexible enough to provide a natural feeling movement for the athlete. The full-length EVA midsole rises up to support the arch of the foot and keep the foot stable and secure during workouts.
Terrain
Terrain

Terrain

This shoe is designed for indoor workouts. The Gum Rubber outsole does best on indoor surfaces and the Speed TR 2.0 included design elements, like the Rope Pro tech and the Kip Klip, that are specifically created for WODs and CrossFit boxes. This shoe is lightweight and can be used for light, fast outdoor running when it needs to be, but it designed to be used for indoor, high-intensity workouts.

Price
Price

Price

Athletes were pleased with the affordability of this shoe. While some CrossFit specific workout attire can be quite pricey, this shoe is very affordable. It comes in under the average price of a high-quality cross training or running shoe on today’s market, and the smart technologies used throughout add durability, which increases the overall value of this shoe.
Traction
Traction

Traction

A key feature of this shoe is its added traction. In general, when runners talk about traction in their racing and running shoes, they are talking about the outside grip and how protected they feel while running on varied surfaces. This is the same case with a CrossFit specific shoe, except that athletes are looking for how much hold this shoe will provide them while performing varied moves like box jumps, lunges, burpees, and a plethora of other complicated moves. Additionally, athletes are looking for a shoe that will keep them connected to the ground during heavy lifting, and this shoe, with it’s Gum Rubber outsole, delivers superior traction.
Flexibility
Flexibility

Flexibility

This shoe does a great job of providing a flexible, natural movement to the athlete. The 3-millimeter drop and the lighter weight material through the upper provide a flexible ride that simultaneously helps to provide support and doesn’t get in the way of the natural movement of the gait cycle. The upper of the shoe is constructed with a lower collar design to provide more flexibility and mobility to the athlete during their workouts.
Stability
Stability

Stability

This is not a stability shoe in the traditional sense of the word. The Speed TR 2.0 doesn’t include any additional stability features in the midsole to protect the runner’s foot from rolling inward during the gait cycle, however, athletes reported that this shoe creates a stable, reliable base that is helpful in Olympic weightlifting and other high impact moves. This is key for moves that involve jumping like box jumps and burpees. Athletes feel connected to the ground below them and also have the support they need to ensure that their ankles won’t roll around and cause injury.
Drop
Drop

Drop

A key feature of this shoe is the 3-millimeter drop. The near zero heel drop provides athletes with a nearly flat, even landing pad. This is a key detail for Olympic weight lifting and other moves that require a stable base. Since this shoe is not designed for distance running, the need to forward propulsion is limited, and what Cross Fit and HIIT athletes really need is a solid base that will help to keep the foot aligned, and this is found in a low drop shoe.
