- 1 cup of green lentils
- 1/3 cup of brown rice

To achieve protein magic you can drink, just grind these three items up to a powder. You can mix your powder with your liquid of choice, I am partial to almond milk.
Another 3 Ingredient Option:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup quinoa
- 1/3 cup brown rice
Same as above. Grind away, add liquid, mix thoroughly. Enjoy
2. Five Seed DIY Vegan Protein Powder
- 1/2 cup hemp seeds
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup flaxseed
When making the five seed powder, be sure to grind ingredients separately as some of the seeds will take longer to get into a fine powder. The author of this recipe recommends storing this in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Also, she states it is wonderful added to a fruit-based smoothie as a recovery drink.
3. Fork N Beans DIY Protein Powder
- 1/4 cup Hemp hearts
- 1/2 cup Almond meal
- 2 tbsp Carob powder
- 1 tbsp Maca powder
- 1 pinch Sea salt
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
✓ Grind the chia seed and hemp hearts in a grinder until a fine flour. Be careful not to over grind (remember to grind your items separately for best results!).
✓ Mix together all the ingredients together and store in an air-tight container in a dry, dark place (the carob powder can be left out if you want original flavor, and added if you prefer that).
✓ Use 3 or 4 tbsp. in a smoothie.
