Outsole
Outsole

Outsole

There are two main features that make up the outsole of the Saucony Kinvara 10.
There are two friction pads located on the bottom of the sneakers, one on the external side of the heel and the other on the internal side of the toe box. The pads are placed in the high friction areas and give you an extra layer of rubber to help combat premature wear and tear.

The second feature you can expect from these great shoes is the guidance system that is located in the middle of the outsole. It is carved on the outsole starting at the heel, splitting around the middle of your foot and ending at your toes. The guidance system helps keep your shoes straight when you land on them and gives you a more flexible toe-off.
Midsole
Midsole

Midsole

The midsole of the Saucony Kinvara 10 does not change too much from the past iterations. They have an EVA+ midsole with an EVERUN topsole. The EVA midsole makes these shoes super flexible giving you the ability to move your feet as freely and naturally as possible. The topsole will give you a highly responsive ride and superior cushioning for added comfort that you will fall in love with.

Inside these sneakers have not changed too much from the previous versions either. The one big change is that there are now two new heel pads that are located at the sides of your feet a little below your ankle which will help give you additional support and keep your feet locked into place. You will also get a Formfit footbed that gives you one last layer of cushioning.
Upper
Upper

Upper

The upper of the Saucony Kinvara 10 is made out of Flexfilm engineered mesh with 3D printed overlays to give you a seamless and comfortable feel. You will get a breathable and flexible feel when wearing these sneakers. Saucony uses better quality materials to make up the upper of these shoes so they can use fewer layers to ensure a lightweight feel that runners can appreciate.
Weight
Weight

Weight

When you are running, especially for speed or distance, you are going to want a pair of lightweight shoes, the lighter the better. These sneakers were made to keep the weight down which runners will love. They weight in, on average, at 8.1 ounces (230 grams) which is just a fraction of an ounce heavier than the Kinvara 9, but it does not seem to be too much of a problem.
Breathability
Breathability

Breathability

It is important when purchasing shoes, especially running shoes, to find a pair that is going to give you an adequate amount of ventilation. The engineered mesh upper allows for a sufficient amount of airflow to ensure that your feet stay both cool and dry while you are on the run. The air flowing into the foot chamber keeps you cool and it will also let the sweat on your feet evaporate quickly and leave the foot chamber keeping your feet dry and healthy.
Comfort
Comfort

Comfort

The Saucony Kinvara 10 running shoes come jam-packed full of a lot of cushioning to make sure that you stay comfortable on your run. The midsole features EVA+ foam which offers some cushioning, but the majority of it comes with the EVERUN topsole that gives you a bouncy and soft experience that will keep you comfortable for the duration of your run.

You will also get the Formfit footbed that is new to this iteration of the Kinvara line which will give you one last layer of cushioning. The materials that make up the upper are also designed to give you a comfortable fit and feel while wearing them. There are only a few layers of engineered mesh material that make up the upper and the addition of the 3D printed overlays give you a seamless feel for a higher comfort level.
Style
Style

Style

The Saucony Kinvara 10 running shoes will launch with only one color option to choose from for the men's version and a different color for the women's. This is going to be a limited edition colorway, being released in the color scheme of the original Kinvara shoe. The men's shoe will be available in the classic red and white and the women's version will be released in blue and white. This special edition color scheme may not be around for too long so if you are a fan of the Kinvara line you might want to scoop these up when you can.
Durability
Durability

Durability

The Saucony Kinvara 10 running shoes are brand new so there is not a whole lot of information on exactly how well these will hold up over the miles, however, they are designed very well and are meant to last a while. The outsole features high friction rubber pads strategically placed on the bottoms of the shoes where they would likely wear down first to help make sure they will not wear down too quickly.

Saucony also opted to use good quality materials for the upper of these shoes so they could use fewer layers to keep the weight down without sacrificing durability. If this iteration is going to be anything like its predecessors then we can expect good quality and durable pair of running shoes that customers will love.

The first is the outsole, this is designed to help protect the bottoms of your feet from sharp and abrasive objects that you may come into contact with while you are on the run. The outsole also provides a decent amount of traction which can help reduce your risk of slipping and falling.

Another great feature is that the EVA+ midsole of these sneakers offers great shock absorption while you are running. That is extremely important because it will take some of the pressure off of your joints which will greatly reduce your risk of joint injury or discomfort during or after your run.
Responsiveness

Responsiveness

One of the better features of the Saucony Kinvara 10 running shoes is the amazing level of responsiveness that they offer you. You will get a high energy return with each step you take when you are running in these shoes. When you step down into your shoe your foot will sink into the cushioning and then it will quickly snap back into its original shape, propelling you into your next step quickly and effortlessly.

This will save you a little bit of energy with each step you take that can, in turn, be used to help you run faster and longer. A highly responsive shoe is great for those who are participating in races, as they can shave precious seconds off of their time and give them a slight advantage over their competition.

Drop
Drop

Drop

The drop of a pair of shoes is simply the measurement of the incline. In other words, it is the difference of how far off the ground your heels are than your toes. The heel to toe drop is mostly a personal preference for many runners, but the vast majority of running shoes fall in the range of an 8mm to 12mm drop (most measuring in at 10mm), but the Saucony Kinvara 10's are not your average sneakers. These have a significantly lower drop of only 4mm. This is something that has remained unchanged within the Kinvara line throughout the years.
